Every Madeleine Lucia candle begins the same way: a small batch of coconut-soy wax, melted slowly and measured by weight, never by eye. We pour in runs of forty so that each vessel gets attention.
After pouring, the candles cure for two full weeks. Curing lets the wax bind with the fragrance so the scent throws evenly from the first burn to the last. It is the least glamorous part of the process and the one we refuse to rush.
Before a scent joins the collection, we burn it end to end — checking the melt pool, the wick, and how the room smells three hours in. If it isn't right, it doesn't ship.
